tengo problemas para sincronizar la letra cuando cambia el tempo de la canción, que puedo hacer, el tempo va en un lugar y la lectura de la letra en otro
Hi @seguels ,
just a very friendly reminder: forum language is English. That ensures that as many people as possible can read and understand your posts and interact with you.

I’m having trouble syncing the lyrics when the song’s tempo changes. What can I do? The tempo is in one place and the lyrics are in another. I have the tempo track activated, and even within the tempo track, it reaches a point where I can’t add any more information.
I’m not quite sure if I got you right. Here, at my place, the lyrics events follow the song tempo as defined in the tempo track. What exactly does not work?
@seguels I edited your previous post and kept the English version only. The Spanish original is still untouched (and we don’t need it in triplicate). ![]()
Hi guys! I have a guess, but just a guess and not sure if I can describe it good enough:
If @seguels anchored the lyrics in songBPM”A”
But his Wav files/stems are made in tempo “B”
Then realising that he changed song tempo to “B”
RESULT: lyrics anchored to be sync in BPM assync, they will get assync when changing BPM in sync with WAV
I was thinking in the same direction.
But the lyrics should follow the tempo track nevertheless.
True… x-files, Let’s call agent Scully ![]()
Can you maybe show some screen capture… maybe will see something suspicious? Maybe… ![]()
In the inspector I can set more tempos, but in the track it only goes up to a certain point and beyond that it’s not possible.
Could it be that the following is happening (just like @fkalmus was suggesting):
- you’re playing back audio(!) files
- there’s a lyrics track
- there’s a tempo track
- and you expect you’re audio files to follow the tempo track (so they’d match the lyrics)
Am I right? If so - that’s not gonna happen as VL will not automatically time stretch your audio files.
Should I be mistaken, sorry for that. In that case: please give us some more clues (or capture a video - with sound! - and send it to me via pm).
I’ve been working on a mix of songs at different tempos. The imported audio already has those speed changes assigned. I imported the MIDI and audio files from the Reason project. When trying to articulate the text with the lyrics, the tempo and the timeline are correct, but the color that appears when the phrase is active is out of sync, and I haven’t been able to fix it.
The lyrics events - are they really aligned right on the beat? I mean, when should “Sabes a ciencia cierta” start and where’s that event located?
And just to make sure: If you switch on VST Lives metronome, is it following your song correctly?
metronomo its ok, The center line follows the tempo correctly, the active font color works at one tempo, but when changing it, it seems the synchronization shifts to a different tempo. I’ll attach a video.
Hi @seguels seems you did everything just perfect! Do you think you can make an export and upload and send the link here or if contains some semsitive or private data, directly to @Kai_Schwirzke
They can test it on their system too to find the reason why the sync gets off-sync after a certain lenght/time-position
Hi @seguels,
the issue has been fixed in the next Pre-Release (3.0.43), which will be available today. Please give it a try and let us know if it works.
See you,
Michael.
PS : @Kai_Schwirzke, thank you for pointing this out.
perfect, gonna test it.
It is a great breakthrough, but it is not perfect yet
