Single cue note requires flag, got a beam instead

I have added a one note cue to a part. The cued note should ideally appear with a flag, but has a beam instead (see picture). Any ideas on how to show a flag instead of a beam?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to achieve that at the moment, a beamed note will be always beamed when it’s cued, even if that means partial beaming. The only way to show the cued note with flag, if it has a flag in the original music (in this case on the trombone stave).

I just came across the same issue. I suppose this is still not possible in Dorico 4.3 (my current version)? Is it in Dorico 5?

There’s been no change in this regard in either Dorico 4 or Dorico 5.
