Single note beam

Hello all,

I would like to ask if it is possible in Dorico to have the last note with a beam instead of the ordinary flag :
Single note beam
Many thanks in advance for any input,

Max

I think if you tell the note to be beamed via the Edit > Beaming menu, it might - but off the top of my head I’m not entirely sure or which of the options on the menu would do the trick.

Edit > Beaming > Beam Together (so yes, effectively beaming the note to itself).

Thanks a lot Lillie and Pianoleo for your kind replies.

I was able to recreate that with your indications. I am wondering if there is a parameter that also allows to extend the beam part (make slightly longer) than the default. I can see parameters under the Properties menu that can change the angle but nothing to actual alter the length of the actual beam.

Best,
Max

As this case is at the end of a system, the options for beams over breaks in Engrave > Engraving Options > Beams might work?

Thanks a lot Lillie for the suggestion, it doesn’t make any difference but worth the try
