Single player-empty staves

I added a few single-player instruments to a flow. On the first system, empty staves with no notes are being displayed along with the active ones. How can I hide these empty staves? I tried using ‘Manual Staff Visibility’, but it only shows a single instrument there, so I can’t use it to hide them.

Even if I set it to “All system,” won’t the blank line under “Add staff above” be hidden?

What are your settings in Layout options>Vertical spacing>Staff visibility (First system)?

It was set to “First system.” I’ve corrected it.
