From what I understand it is not possible to add a Choir “player” in the Setup and modify the grand staff into a single staff, am I right?
The only way is to add a single staff “player” like a soprano and change name and sound.
You should be able to Remove a Staff (Right click or Edit > Staff submenu).
But either way will achieve the same effect.
