Size of Fingering Text Font

I would like to increase the size of the fingering text font. I have tried using Font Styles>Fingering Text Font>Edit Font Styles as the documentation advises but to no avail. No matter what size I choose, it remains the same size in the project. What I am not doing correctly? Thanks in advance for any help.

Try the one named Fingering Font.

I thought the documentation said that was for musical notation, not text?
