Just installed and validated Cubase LE 8 but on opening I am getting skin file skin not found followed by GUI not found.
Any Ideas?
Did you try a reinstall?

OK…so you’re definitely compatible.
Earlier posts with this issue seem to have been a file corrupted during install so I would try the reinstall one more time using the below steps.
Uninstall from Windows add/remove programs
Check the c: drive for Steinberg folders and delete any you find
Right click the Cubase installer and run as admin. Be sure to tick the box install for all users.
