After an upgrade (but sometimes happening this accidentally after a system cleaning fe) on first start cubase are initialize
the plugin list. It could be very long process (I really don’t know, why cubase still do this very slow) if you have many plugs.
I have many many freeware dll without any install, simply dll, so they should scanned easily.
BTW. We know that cubase importing preferences file from the previous version, if cubase found an earlier version on the system.
My question is why not plugin list imported also ? And there is any way to get this plugininfo also ?
I don’t aware to simple copy Vst2xPlugins.xml file from c5 appdata to c6.
What do you think, can we skip this step ?
