Skipping Pauses in Montage Playback

Single track, one lane, markers at clip boundaries, use splice markers between titles. While playing the track down, playback/cursor skips over the pause at track’s end and goes straight into the next track. I zoom in, return playback cursor to last seconds or previous track and the pause plays normally. Zoom out, play to end of next track, it skips the pause. I can’t find a pref. for this behavior.

Is this an AI response stating the obvious?

Marker is good a stating the obvious…but he sometimes comes up with really good answers…FWIW

I didn’t mean to be rude. I truly didn’t know if it was a human. Transport is of course an obvious place to look but I have, and various pref’s as well. Looked through manual, searched this forum and thus far have seen nothing talking about this behavior.

While I have not personally seen this, you mention that you are using splice markers, but also that there is a ‘pause’. I take this to mean that there are frames between the splice marker at the end of the clip and the splice marker at the start of the following clip. If this is the case, maybe try substituting the traditional pause markers for the splice markers and see if the behavior persists.
