Whenever I do unmixing in SL11 it crashes into blue screen and thus the machine reboots. I think it is a very serious bug. Does anybody have any hints?
The crash occurs when calling from Cubase and when using the standalone version of SL 11. SL10 is fine - no blue screen.
My Setup:
SL 11 11.0.60
Windows 10 Pro 22H2 64bit
System: Intel(R) Core™ i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz, 32GB RAM
MoBo:
Gigabyte, Z390 DESIGNARE-CF
BIOS: American Megatrens Inc. F9b, 18.12.2019

Greetings! The stop code is critical here to determine the source. There’s most likely a kernel mode driver (either 3rd party or Windows) causing this. If you didn’t get the stop code details from the BSOD, then you’ll find it in your SYSTEM event log. That will give you a good starting point to research what driver is causing this.

Unmixing what? Which module? Not that I could help you, yet that is info that Robin might need…Unmix Song? Unmix Components? Unmix Drums? There are currently 11 unmix modules in SL11.

Sorry for me beeing too unspecific. I’ll get the stop code soon.
I used “Unmix Song …” (my translation from German) with default settings. It was my first test and I just wanted to have everything. The song was about 5 minutes in length. I even tried different formats (mp3 and wav).
I did another test yesterday with just unmixing a vocal and just a short slice from the audio. This did not cause a problem.
