SL12 CPU too slow on M1 & M2 chips

I am mid project, used the demo (V12), loved it and bought the full version. I have had CPU to slow message on a mac M1 and Mac M2 system (with 16gB RAM) on both demo and paid for versions making me unable to preview ( it will process stems very well in unmix noisy speech, which is why I bought it) But very hard to assess how good it is If I can not preview it. Perhaps its internal setting on preferences

I get that too for some, not all, processes (M1 laptop). My workaround is to select a small snippet and apply the process - not ideal but at least you can see if it’s worth applying the thing to a larger section / whole track without wasting too much time. You can easily undo before going further…

I will try that. Not using it on long sections and the error comes up within 1 second

yep, good workflow advice…like trying painting over existing paint: try first in an unnoticeable area before applying to the entire surface :slight_smile:

I have the same laptop (M1) and seeing the same. Just to confirm. You’re not alone.

I am on M1 Ultra with 128GB of ram and have same problem.

Audio selection is 10s.
