Slash chords not displaying properly

Hi all, a seemingly stupid problem, but I can’t get some of my slash chord symbols to display on the lead sheet.

Song is in F, and I have a measure that has Bb for two beats and Bb/C for two beats. The Bb/C doesn’t display, unless I delete or change the preceding Bb chord symbol.

Any ideas? (F/X chords seem to display fine, though)
THanks!

Can you post a screenshot (make sure Signposts are switched on) or a project please.

Sure thing, here’s the measure with the Bb on the downbeat:

When I change the chord to anything other than a Bb, then the Bb/C appears:

OK, I’ll need the project lol

Just those two bars is fine.

Yeah, that’s weird. Thanks for uploading but I have no answers, sorry.

What if you change this setting in Engraving Options->Chord Symbols->Altered Bass notes?

Thanks Jesper, that wasn’t it, but thanks for the clue. The setting directly below that was:

I had it set to 1 beat, not 1 bar.

Great, thought about that too.

The underlying problem here is a bug in Dorico. Your project has an overridden chord symbol appearance for “Bb/C” chord symbols, and the current version of Dorico is getting confused when trying to hide the main bit of the chord (to give “/C”) while also trying to use the overriden chord symbol appearance. This is on our backlog of issues to be sorted out in a future version.
