Select a series of bars, go to Change Voice>Downstem Slash Voice 1, CRASH. Very replicable.
For the record, it happens in “part layout” and score layout. The bars have chord symbols, and a voice with whole rests above them that I’m trying to get rid of. The notes are slashes already, maybe that’s the problem, but it’s still a crash.
Seems like the issue was that they were already slashes, since when I converted them to upstem voice 1, they converted back to slashes no problem. I had to end the previous voice that was causing the whole rests. I guess I need to think of slashes and their voices differently.
