I’ve selected the notes I want to be slash notes, I enter “create slash voice” but nothing happens?
Slash voices work a bit differently for percussion kits. I’m not an expert on this but what I gathered from a quick search on the forum (
) you basically have two options:
- Edit the percussion kit and add one (or more) slash voice(s). They are placed in the middle of the staff by default but you can move them if you like. See the help pages for detailed steps. This method will allow you to use slash and normal notation at the same time.
Or:
- Right click your drum set staff and navigate to this menu:
It’s quick and dirty but it will turn all notes in that voice into slash notes for the entire flow.
