How is this possible? The manual says “all notes in slash voices are positioned by default on the middle line of the staff, regardless of the pitches you input,” but mine are instead positioned to correspond with the chord symbols. Is there a setting to get it back to default?… I can’t find it (BTW, all of the underlying notes are the same Db).
Are you sure that’s a slash voice, and not right click, Notehead > Slashes > Oversized Slash Noteheads?
I found the solution. Slash voices have a “Slash Pos.” property and mine were all set to various offset values. I presume it came from an MXL import. You can reset them all but it’s hard to find the property. Selecting a range of measures and filtering on all slash voices doesn’t do it. I had to filter on “Notes and Chords” for the property to show up.

Yes… and I found the solution that I’ve documented in a general reply. Thanks anyway! Slash voices are still an oddity to me. Mine are defined as Up-stem Voice 2, however when I select a “normal” note and employ “Change Voice” using the context menu, that voice is not available to change to!
