Slash voices mixed with regular notation rest management

Hey everybody,

At the moment I find myself using a lot of slash voices for rhythmic guitar chords interspersed with short melodies, and I’m removing a lot of rests doing so…
Therefore I hereby submit a feature request to somehow suppress rest creation in slash voices.
I totally get that rests are needed in polyphonic music, but in my cases here, rest removal takes a lot of time, unfortunately…

Ignore them until you’ve finished note entry, then remove them all at once?

Yes, possible, but there are also rests that need to stay, obviously. Klick 'em all?

If few rests need to remain. … select all, filter for rests, ctrl-click the ones you want to stay and then hit remove rests.
