anyone using any of the slate digital stuff like the virtual pre`s on the input bus ?
if so what is the latency and what was your overall thinking after tracking ???

Not tried it myself yet as i have a pretty nice hardware front end i’m extremely happy with but as they’re zero latency there shouldn’t be an issue, just make sure you’r not clipping your hardware input/s before you hit the VMR plugs as VPC adds a fair amount of compression and saturation when driven hard.
Just give it a go and see what happens. As a comparison try recording a mono source on two mono inputs, one with VMR and one without, compare the results and see which you prefer… Will be an interesting experience for you and it would be cool if you were to share your results and thoughts.
