I’m unsure what button I pressed somewhere along the line but that’s a moot point. The Key Editor doesn’t sync the notes up with the measure… or rather what it’s saying is the measure isn’t, it’s difficult to explain, here’s a picture

The midi segment on the actual project file says it runs for 4 measures and it syncs up perfectly, but in the key editor it starts right before the 7th measure and selecting the 1/1 size for note values goes well into a 2nd measure…
I imagine I accidentally enabled some other feature that serves some purpose but I’m unsure how to revert it and I wasn’t sure what exactly I’d look up to find an answer. Thanks for any help.

How were these notes entered? (Mouse, recording, step input, etc…)
I just clicked them in with the mouse.

And you did enter all of these notes with snap activated, right…?
Yep, I also noticed on the top where it says which measure it’s on it usually says something like (5 1.2.3.4 6 1.2.3.4) Where as here it says something like 11, 11.5, 12, 12.5. This is where my issue is probably coming from.
It also only says this in the Key Editor not in the main view.

I have no clue!
It is obviously either some option you enabled or a glitch, I would advise you to trash your preferences or set them to default to find out.
I also noticed you moved your event start to an off-measure position; that might have something to do with it.
Souls – in your picture, your “Snap” button is on in your Key Editor----Try turning it off
and then redraw your notes manually

Why? That’s what helps sync the notes to the value indicated in the Quantize field.

Nah bro, that’s part of the problem.
Here’s an image of what it looks like in the regular mode as opposed to the key editor

I was speaking of your MIDI part’s start flag, not your note data.
Puzzling how the notes look fine in the project window, but not in the key editor. Is this the only project this has been happening in?
If not, then go ahead and trash your preferences as I recommended. If so, start over with a new project!

Nope it’s all of them, I was contemplating just re-installing.
