SLM 128 Meter Plugin OSX Installation Issue

Hi!

I downloaded the SLM 128 Meter plugin for OSX

When I try to install, I get an error message that says I need at least OSX 10.5.0 or later.

I am running OSX 10.14 (Mojave).

Is this still a valid working plugin?, or some kind of 64-bit / 32-bit problem? or am I doing something wronger here?

Thanks!

Hi,

Try to use Steinberg Application Installer Tool for Mac OS X, please.

Hey thanks!

I appreciate it !!!

I downloaded the assistant but don’t see it on there. I looked first in “Complimentary Products” as it is supposed to be a free VST plug-in (I don’t use Cubase or Nuendo), but didn’t see it there.

I checked all the other categories and folders also but didn’t see it?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Then I’m afraid the plug-in is too old to be able to use it with the current macOS.

Thanks for the reply! I see it is 32-bit, so that was the problem. Have been looking at every paid and free meter on the market, and ended up with the Melda MAnalyzer, which has a terrific, simple meter and you can turn on and off the spectral-analysis when you want to see that or hide it. Also uses like zero CPU!

Thanks again!

the SLM128 is obsolete with Cubase 10 and above
the functionality is integrated now

It’s too bad nobody makes a simple meter plugin without inter-sample-peaks-coherency-program-related-averaging-whatever. Just a green bar, hitting red at zero, would be nice!

do your own… configure the Cubase meter like you want it…
