Slow internet connection = No Steinberg product is usable

At the moment I have no access to fast internet.
It’s very laggy, slow and very broken.

Cubase 9.5 is frozen when I start it.
The eLicencer eu.dll-something freezes all the time.
After quick googling I stumbled over a thread that explained
that it’s a plug-in for the eLicencer.
In order to fix that I need fast internet.

So my question is basically this:
Do I need fast internet to run my Cubase 9.5 Pro copy?
No fast internet = I might as well sell my Cubase 9.5 copy, right?

Do I need fast internet to run my Cubase 9.5 Pro copy?

No

Yes, of course! :stuck_out_tongue:

The elicenser installer is a 64 megabyte download.

I got the installer. That is not the problem. I am still frozen on step 1 of 6. Synchronization and repairing. It won’t progress.

Never mind… I fixed everything.

You can close or delete the thread.

It was the wrong USB port. 4 of my 6 USB ports deliver enough current.
