If DC offset is an issue, you can simply deal with it in the spectrogram by erasing the very lowest frequency at the very bottom of the spectrogram. Use the Eraser tool, or use the Frequency Range selection tool and Edit > Delete. This will completely remove any offset you may have in your waveform.
