I very much prefer the tweaked slur on beat 2 in the 1st bar than the non tweaked one on beat two of bar 2.
I guess I am on my own here – no setting to align the slur start with the tie end like this, right?
(And yes, one could argue that the slur should start from where the tie starts…)
I agree that the appearance of the first bar is better than the second bar (though I would also personally start the slur at the start of the tied note). At the moment Dorico performs this kind of positioning for two slurs on a single notehead, and indeed for two ties on a single notehead, but not for a combination of a tie and a slur. I’ll make a note of this and we’ll see about improving this in a future release.
