Slur attached to wrong note

Hi all -

How do I make this slur stick to the B and not to the diamond? Even when I move the slash offset waaay up, the slur still sticks to it.

Thanks!

See this explanation, posted only yesterday. The diamond is part of the ‘skyline’ that Dorico uses to calculate the heights of slurs, and it doesn’t know that it has to attach to a different note. If the staff contains two voices, convention is to have stems and slurs all point downwards in the bottom voice. This can be accomplished with F (for Flip). Otherwise you’ll have to go to Engrave mode and drag the slur endpoint in place by hand.

Gotcha, thank you!

Hi. you did not tag the appropriate answer as the solution. It really does not help to read « Gotcha, thank you» as the solution in the first post

Sorry about that! I’ll make sure to do the same in future (I assume you tagged it, since it shows up as such on my end?)

Merry Christmas

(I fixed it, as I sometimes do, using my moderator superpowers.)
