I’m missing a choice of slur end in the case of series of tied notes : the first whole bar note :
if there is a long series of tied notes the last note isn’t really an option for the slur end :
you can do the first note
but my first choice has always been the first whole bar note :
And this is also, I notice, the first choice of Gould in Behind Bars…:

As usual you can override the default whenever you want by using the properties panel for any selected slur.
in properties (qs in the options) you have two choices : first note or last note.
there is no “first whole bar note”.
There is no option for this style, I fear.
that’s why this is a feature request
