Currently Dorico has the ability to avoid ties colliding with staff lines. This feature would also be great to have on slurs. I do understand it is a lot more complicated as slurs are usually angled while ties are always flat.
Ideally, I would like slurs to never lie tangent to a staff line (example A) and instead, the have the apex lie in the middle of a space (example B). I can of course adjust this manually in engrave mode, but having this automated by Dorico, or as close to it as possible, would be a huge time saver.
