Slur to a note in a chord

I am writing guitar music. and when I select two notes(one of them is in a chord) to do a slur, the slur line will always be on the bottom.

I searched that you can change the end point of a slur in engrave mode, but it adds labor if I have a lot of slurs and sometimes it is not “accurate” if the slur is connect a note with a note inside a chord.

Here are two examples of what I am writing about:

Obviously the slur should link to the C♯, and the same in the tab as well.

SCR-20260420-ckxv

the slur in the tab should be with the 6 and 8 on first string, but Dorico didn’t do that…

Any workaround? Is manual change the direction of slur or adjust the end point the only way to do this?

If you didn’t know already, you can flip items by selecting them and pressing F. (Just something that might make your life easier.)

Thanks, it works for most of the parts, but it still can’t deal with slur as an inner voice of a chord.

You are attempting to slur to a chord rather than the intended inner voice. Separate out the C# as an independent voice (you may have to edit voice columns and stems to get the right look but you should be able to slur to it then). You may also have to assign the grace note to the same voice!
