I’ve had to go into engraving and adjust all the slurs across systems because they are “diving off” at the end of a system and “coming up” when a new system begins. I have to pull the edges of the slurs up to have the appearance of continuing.
This could be a personal preference, but I had assumed the default in slurring was to have the slur arc as if it were continuing without a system break.
In Engraving options, the “slur over system break” only covers the horizontal beginning and end of a slur and doesn’t cover the horizontal placement of the slur across systems.
Let me know if there’s any way to put this in a setting somewhere that I’ve missed, or if manual adjustment is the only way possible at the moment.
