Slurs changement only in parts

I have to adjust some holding slurs and also some slurs in my score, but I would like to apply different settings in the parts. However, it looks like changes to the bows are always global. Is there an option, a possibility, to make shifts on the bows, only in the parts or in the score? Thank you very much!

Hi @Inventione, sorry but your terminology is not clear: holding slurs vs slurs vs bows? Do you mean ties, slurs and …slurs again?

What does “shifts” mean? What are you trying to do? The fastest way for everybody is to upload a minimal Dorico Project with an example of what you are trying to do.

Generally is so:

you can set the properties scope to Locally or Globally in the Panel, before you change something there:

Even if you set it to Locally some properties are only globally available (and you will notice this because the property text will become bold white(=global), even if the scope is set to Locally).

Let say you set the scope to Locally, and you then change a Property: if its text from grey becomes normal white, this property is applied Locally (=it will be applied only to the current layout):

If its text becomes bold white, it means that this property is only available Globally (even if the scope is set to Locally).

For example, for slurs, the Start and End Position in Tie Chain properties are only available globally (bold white text of the property):

But again: please describe what you are trying to do, with a Dorico file example, and a precise answer will come.
