A small bug in how Dorico 2.2 handles file system name changes …

  • Open an existing document
  • Cmd-click the title bar with the file name and see the full path of the document
  • In finder, rename the parent folder
  • Cmd-click the title bar with the file name of the Dorico document and see that it hasn’t updated the folder name for the document

Try this in, say, TextEdit, and you can see that TextEdit is handling file name or folder name changes perfectly.

Thanks for the feedback, Henry. We’re dependent on Qt getting notifications of these kinds of filesystem changes to be able to update the path to the proxy icon, so this isn’t something we can easily fix directly, but I’ll check whether this issue is on their radar.
