Small fingering bug in Dorico 3.5

I just noticed what appears to be a small bug in v. 3.5. If there are multiple voices on a staff in a piano score and fingering is applied to the bottom voice, it gets positioned above the top voice by default, as in this example:

This would imply that the top note should be played with that finger rather than the bottom note.

There’s an option to set the staff-relative position to below the note, though it would be nice (not to mention correct!) for this to happen by default. Anyway, I thought this was worth passing on.

If I recall correctly there is an option on the Fingering page of Engraving Options to tell Dorico that the fingering should follow the voice direction by default.

You could also type “L” or “R” before the number, and this has the effect of forcing the fingering to one side. I think it’s intended to be used for when a note in the middle voice should be pressed by the other hand.

Thanks—this is helpful!
