Small inconsistency in click vs double-click behavior

Hi I want to report on a UI inconsistency (that was actually pretty annoying in the first place) that appears in cubase 14 and did not appear in cubase 12 (I just moved from 12 to 14):

In cubase 14 (windows 11), in “data-entry” elements of the project window (see screenshot1 and screenshot2), double-clicking on the element selects it and selects the entire existing value (painted in blue). However, in the MixConsole, selecting of the volume (and possibly other similar fields) - see screenshot3 needs to be done with a single-click. In fact, if you double click, you get punished - the value is NOT FULLY SELECTED (i.e., does not appear in blue), but instead you are in “cursor edit mode” inside the field, with the existing value (which is super annoying of course).

Thanks,

Erez

Hi,

The double-click works for me on the Channel Volume on my side (it selects the whole value).

The channel volume value (fader level) is selected with the first click of the double-click and deselected with the second click of the double-click. To enter a new value, the old value must therefore be deleted manually beforehand. Note: This behavior applies to Windows; it may be different on Mac.

Hi,

OK, you are right, it’s different on Mac.
