The current keyboard shortcuts have no idea what state the button is currently in, thus scripts/macros may or may not work the way you want. If for example there were “mute off” and “mute on” keyboard shortcuts rather than just a “toggle mute” macros and scripts would always work as expected. I’m just requesting stateless keyboard shortcuts for the most common buttons - solo, mute, monitor, arm for record, etc… You can leave the current keyboard shortcuts as they are presently- just add the requested keyboard shortcuts. I use voice automation (voicebot) when recording with my DAW and it saves huge amounts of mousing and keyboarding
