Hmmm, it seems to me that VST 3 has some major bumps. My main complaints are
I would like the vst3 files to be able to be placed in categories of my choosing. For instance I think plugins should be able to be categorized by the company who designs them, or by the type of instrument and or effect that they are. Reverbs with reverbs, drum machines with drum machines, etc.
Also
The VST3 should automatically and without any issues be able to replace older vst2 plugins. As of now, I would have to go in and manually change
each plugin I have that is in VST2 to become a VST3.
If I delete the vst2 version of a plugin, Cubase should automatically identify that as the same plugin but then replace it with the vst3 version.
