@dspreadbury, would it be possible to have the SMuFL website glyph table names alphabetized? Every once-in-a-while I go looking for some glyph and I have a helluva time finding it since the categories appear to be in a random order. (Shift+F is my friend for sure.)

The categories (like the glyphs within the categories) are all listed in Unicode code point order, which is an intentional choice. I think using the search feature in the specification or using your browser’s “find in page” feature are the right way to go.
