snap part to the nearest note

Hi,
Is there a way to adjust/snap the beginning of a part to the nearest note ?
I tried with the snap/events ON but it does not work. Maybe with a shortcut or via the logical editor ?

I guess that kind of depends on what you want to do after that? Snap part to the nearest note … ?

If I hit record and enter notes after the first beat (non-rhythmic context) I end up with a part with empty space in the beginning.
I would like to find a way to snap the beginning of the part to the first event recorded. Or if preferable, to erase the empty space before the first note.
Is it clearer ? :unamused:

You can tab to transient using alt n. Is that what you are referring to. Alt n will tab to the next hitpoint and alt b will tab to the previous hitpoint.
