Snap problem with Modifier Keys "Select full vertical"

  1. Open Cubase
  2. Create new Project
  3. Add some Audio Tracks
  4. Activate Snap on
  5. Select Tool “Range Selection”
  6. Press Modifier Keys “Select full vertical” and select a few bars

The selection does not snap to grid anymore since Cubase 8.5. You have to readjust the Boarders to get on the grid. This is really annoying when you’re using this quiet often.
It’s working the normal way without the Modifier Keys “Select full vertical” and it makes much more sence.

It works here on my system (Cubase 8.5.0 on Mac OS X). What modifier key do you hold-down? The default one is Alt/Option modifier key. To disable Snap temporarily modifier key is Ctrl/Cmd, by default.
