Hi I have been mixing up some Hammond takes using lanes in Cubase 14. There a little bit glitchy when they are joined. I have them as seperate parts at the mo, but I feel I should join them up using the glue tool?
I seem to remember that Snap to Zero Crossing was a thing once, maybe there are other ways to smooth out the interchange between parts
Hi,
snap to zero is basically a good idea. I would also work with crossfades. Select the consecutive events and press X. You can also finetune crossfades:
Yes, just drag the borders of the events with the object selection tool (1) to extend them and then cut again.
Maybe it’s not that big of a difference if you use crossfades, though.
