So where is Cubase headed?

That aside, I don’t fear (the Reaper :laughing: ) where any software is headed, I use what it has today. If its inadequate, I move on. For me, C8.0.2 is working much more efficiently on my aging Q6600 Win 7 system than C7.5.4 was, so I am happy for that.

There’s no harm in moving projects around in various applications if that is what works for you. Different tools for different jobs, you don’t use a hammer much when fixing watches… (though I might! :smiling_imp: )

Currently I think Steinberg is a little too focused on the EDM market, and there are some alternatives which are built from the ground up for that. Not losing sight of all their customers might be a comment for their marketing boardroom.

I’d say they are headed for version 9 already… :mrgreen:
