Soft eLicence deactivated WHY?

I recently upgraded from Elements 9 to 9.5

I have been using 9.5 for a couple of weeks now but went to open it today to be told that no valid license found and when I open the eLicence control center I am informed that the soft eLicencer has been deactivated.

What reason does this occur please?

Ha! I thought I would let folks know I had resolved the issue. The day before I had a rather large windows update so after making sure everything was in order at My Steinberg and maintenance done on the eLicencer I restarted computer and ‘bingo!’ Problem fixed.
