Soft eLicenser created on a different computer

Hi,

With eLicenser Control Center version 6.11.10.22.64 I have a problem that I have never had.

When maintaining the eLicensers, the hardware key is fine, but the Soft eLicenser is considered not OK. It was created on a different computer, is what it says.

Now, since I see the Cubase AI license stored on it is from 2012, I guess that this eLicenses has migrated from my earlier computers via Apple’s Migration Assistant.

How to solve this issue? I don’t need the Soft eLicenser at the moment, but I would like to be able to use it when needed. Can I remove it? Will the registered Cubase AI license be still good, and will I be able to register it again?

Hi,

I would recommend to use eLicenser Helper to generate a new Soft-eLicenser Number.
