This has happened a couple of times now. I get files from a client in Logic and export out the various elements (so I can edit and mix in PROFESSIONAL software!!) and build a Nuendo project.
First thing I then do is add FADER 1 to all audio channel inserts. Mostly this works fine, but every now and then, like today, suddenly I lose the midi in from Fader 1. Remove all the inserts and add them back in one by one and after adding a random number of inserts (different every time), suddenly it’s stops working again.
Something within file seems to get corrupted. My instant thought is to blame corrupt data from Logic, but that’s only because I hate Logic so much, anyone out there got a more more rational thought?
