Solo and Dim

I have Cubase Artist 12. I want to hear the rest of the project at a quieter level when I solo a track. I do not see a Control Room, or an “L” on my track or in the Mix Console. This feature is called Dim in other DAWS.

Thank you;
Kevin Burns

This is a Cubase Pro feature.

That’s just a part of it.
The listen mode doesn’t break the main output connection or doesn’t interrupt the normal mix, so it keeps the Cue mixes as well, even if they are post fader.
It’s more like the PFL or AFL bus of a live sound mixing desk. It allows the engineer to solo to the signals during a recording.
The dim level is just a bonus.
