The solo defeat function does not work properly with sampler tracks in Cubase 13.
First off, the solo state between the sampler track in the mixer and the sampler track in the project window are not linked. As in, enabling solo defeat on the mixer track is not reflected in the project window and vice versa.
Separately, no matter of the status of either location, the solo defeat is not saved with the project. Every time the project is reopened, the solo defeat will have to be re-enabled.
This has been an issue with the previous few versions of Cubase. In the past, I’ve occasionally been able to get it to stick by enabling in both locations and then saving, but it looks like this is no longer working.
An integral part of my workflow involves using sampler tracks with solo defeat and this has become highly annoying. I would LOVE a patch for this.
