[SOLVED] 1.4 Clock Problem: don't send BPM

Hi,
I have a problem with your clock update: it send Start/Stop but not Bpm.

Same here no BMP and also audio are out of sync

Dear customers,

The BPM information is calculated by the MIDI clock slave app using the clock intervals sent by the MIDI clock master (in this case Cubasis).

If an app doesn’t receive BPM information, it’s a MIDI clock slave app bug or the app was not programmed to receive and correctly translate such information.

Testcase 1:

  1. Launch Cubasis and enable “Send MIDI Clock” in the setup.
  2. Launch iElectribe as a MIDI clock slave.
  3. Start the playback in Cubasis and change the BPM value.
Result: The BPM information will be received and interpreted correctly in “iElectribe” as MIDI clock slave.

Testcase 2:

  1. Launch MIDI-Ox on a desktop computer.
  2. Connect MIDI-Ox to the iPad with an iOS compatible + external desktop MIDI interface.
  3. Start the playback in Cubasis and change the BPM value.
Result: The BPM information will be received and interpreted correctly in real time in MIDI-Ox.

So we can say, since some apps calculate the correct BPM value from Cubasis’ MIDI Clock signals and other apps don’t, everything seems to indicate that this issue is not a Cubasis one.
