AUs are crashing out of nowhere, interface is laggy as all get out, and my project with hardly anything in it takes 3x longer to load. 2018 iPad Pro 11”, 26.2 iPadOS

A bunch of new instruments/fx, a tuner and the ability to turn the screen up and down finally? It seems like every year just gets worse and worse.

You say “we only have so much to dedicate to each feature request” Have people really asked for Portrait mode and a Tuner; over PDC, automation recording/editing and MIDI/Send/Audio/Group/FX routing improvements, project export/parity with Cubase??

The Halion Selection and Iconica Sketch (inapp I.S is now bugged) were superb additions in the past..

But 2 new Pianos.. did we really needed that?

I rather have a better, more functional MiniSampler.. since it’s lackluster :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

I love new instruments, but not at the expense of stability and increased functionality.

Please give the following steps a try:

  • Close all apps, including Cubasis.
  • Fully shut down your iPad (turn it off).
  • Restart the device and launch Cubasis with an empty project.

Does this help to resolving your current issues?

No. I took your steps exactly.

Upon loading the empty project, my AuV3 list was completely empty now instead of populated.

When I restart AGAIN, the AU list showed up, but my bugs persist even still. As soon as I close my AuV3 window for Koala Sampler after recording CB3 MIDI, the AU dies and no sound is produced. Upon restarting the AU, the state is not saved. I’ve seen this reported for Koala and for Baby Audio BA-1. This crash is not occurring in Any Other Host.

Not sure how this can be marked as ‘solved’ 3.8.1 solved nothing at my end and all the devs seem now to be enjoying the holiday with the tab picked up by end users after delivering an absolute downgrade, just scandalous
