While other apps like FL mobile detect MIDI-Hardware connected via OTG-USB CUBASIS fails.
Any one using the same tablet?
Any idea how to fix this issue?
Everything works perfect on a Samsung Tablet a9+ btw …
Thank you for your message and sorry for our late reply.
The performance of Cubasis for Android, and available options to use external hardware devices are strongly related to the devices in use. Cubasis for Android offers limited audio and MIDI hardware support only, Steinberg does not currently guarantee full compatibility.

What do you mean exactly by this=
Cubasis for Android runs with your external MIDI hardware on this model?
Hello,
yes - the same OTG-USB Interface and keyboards work on a Samsung Tablet a9+.
same cubasis version and same android-version afaics. (but the 7FE has a bigger display and pensupport so personally I would prefer using this one)
Have you used any other app to verify the connection to your MIDI equipment connected to your Tab S7 FE? I’ve used one on the Google Play store called MIDI Scope, where I could see my Arturia controller to be able to verify the data being sent and received on my S24+.
If you aren’t seeing your connected hardware to select in MIDI Scope, you might need to check to make sure you don’t have the USB connection set to ignore certain uses, where it might only be allowing it to be charged for instance.
Another limitation might be the power output available from your Tab S7FE.
Since Cubasis for Android works as expected on your other device, the issue seems not to be related to the app. Nevertheless you may give it a try to delete and reinstall Cubasis.
hi all,
first I checked with midi-scope that there´s no general midi-problem with the S7FE.
Then I deleted cubasis.
After rebooting and reinstalling it seems to work.
Will check now for a while but it feels ok so far!
