(SOLVED) Bluetooth Audio bug in Cubasis 3.8: Sample rate locked at 16.0 kHz on iOS

Dear Steinberg Team,

I am experiencing a severe audio issue since updating to Cubasis 3.8 on iOS.
Whenever I connect Bluetooth headphones or speakers, the sample rate automatically switches to 16.0 kHz and becomes locked. A pop-up message appears stating: “The sample rate was set to 16.0 kHz because either the hardware doesn’t support your initial setting or another app is blocking it.”

Here are the details of my troubleshooting:
• The issue persists even after disabling microphone access for Cubasis in iOS Privacy settings.
• I have ensured that “Measurement Mode” is OFF and “Studio Quality” is toggled, but the 16.0 kHz lock remains.
• All background apps were closed, and system settings (Siri, Dictation, etc.) were checked.
• Crucially: Everything works perfectly at 48 kHz when using wired headphones, confirming this is specifically a Bluetooth/driver issue introduced with the 3.8 update.

Additionally, I’ve noticed some UI regressions in the Master Strip: numerical indicators for Bass, Mid, and High frequencies seem to be missing or changed, making precise adjustments more difficult.
Is this a known bug with the 3.8 update and iOS 18? I had to purchase wired headphones just to continue working.

Looking forward to a fix.

Thanks!
