[SOLVED] ChordPolyApp into Cubasis

I have several sets of chords in ChordPolyApp that I would like to use in Cubasis. I have experimented a little, trying to find the right set of settings, to play these chords into a project in Cubasis, using some Cubasis instrument. So far, I haven’t succeeded.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible? I would prefer to get the midi in, rather than the audio, so I can adjust timing, and/or change the instrument.

Thanks for any help.

Glenn

Hi Glenn,

Please try these steps:

  • Launch ChordPolyPad app
  • Launch Cubasis and create a MIDI track (to be assigned to an instrument, e.g. the default piano)
  • In ChordPolyPad: Go to “Setup” and choose “Cubasis” as “Output”
  • Go back to Cubasis and start to record on the MIDI track
  • Switch to ChordPolyPad app and press the desired pads (chords are recorded to the MIDI track in Cubasis).

For similar topics, I’d suggest to get in touch with the 3rd party app vendor.

Hope that helps!

Best,
Lars

Lars,

Thanks so much. Hopefully, I will not have so many questions once I get back to making music instead of scratching my head and looking puzzled. I appreciate your patience and clear answer. Now that I understand the principle hopefully I can solve others myself.

Glenn

Hi Glenn,

You’re welcome, glad it helped.

Best,
Lars
