[SOLVED] Cubase 10.5: Strange Plugin loading behavior

I noticed some really strange behavior in Cubase 10.5 and 10.0.50. Not in 10.0.40 and below.

Some Plugins which are not blacklisted happen to load in Cubase and they also appear on the screen. But the activation button on the top left of the plugin window only flashes blue for a blink of an eye and then goes dead. It’s impossible to activate the plugin and also impossible to remove it using the drop down menu on the left in in the inserts list. And once you close the plugin’s window, it’s no longer possible to bring it back on the screen. It doesn’t matter if it’s an empty or a “work in progress”-project. And oh, yes it happens with different plugins from different vendors.

Has anyone else come across this weird issue?

Ok, I found the solution. Constrain Delay Compensation is the cause for this. SOLVED: Cubase 10.5 third party plugins not working on groups - Cubase - Steinberg Forums

Weird. Weird. Weird.
