[SOLVED] Cubasis 2.2 says I am Unregistered

Just loaded Cubasis 2.2 in iOS 11.0.3 (iPad 2017).

When I try to get RoomWorks SE in SHOP, it says I am Unregistered and links me to MySteinberg.

I log in and under My Products it shows Cubasis 2 activated April 2017.
I close window (all within Cubasis) and Cubasis stills says I am Unregistered.

Bottom line is I can not get RoomWorks.

Am I missing something or is this a Bug?

Thanks

It must be a bug, because the same thing is happening to me.

I just did a clean install of IOS 11.0.3 on an iPad Air 2 and Cubasis 2 has been activated since 27/03/2017.

Hi Chainsaw, Hi raucous,

Sorry to hear you have problems to unlock RoomWorks SE via registration, and hope iOS 11.0.3 did not break anything.
We will check the issue and get back to you asap.

Thanks,
Lars

Lars,

I just wanted to add that when I registered back in April 2017, I was on an iPad2 with 32-bit version of Cubasis. With iPad 2017 running 64-bit version, maybe this is somehow confusing registration process.

Also, in the iOS ecosystem there is no software pirating as we are all paying users within the App Store. I really don’t know why you added the registration complication if RoomWorks is ultimately free. Be nice to see registration for RoomWorks removed in next version.

Thanks for your support.

i have just the same problem. IOS 11.1

Hi,

While we’re evaluating the issue:
Please re-connect your WiFi and give RW SE unlock another try, and let me know if it helps to solve the issue.

Thanks,
Lars

Dear all,

The issue will be fixed with the next Cubasis update.

Best,
Lars

Hi all,

Please note that the latest Cubasis update, version 2.3 is available.
This update also addresses the Room Works SE registration issue.

Best,
Lars
